► Question:
What swayed your decision to vote for John McCain?
Answer: “Experience. I’ve always liked John McCain. I think he’s a proven leader and war hero who’s proven himself.”
► Question:
How do you feel about how this campaign season has gone?

► Question:
Who did you vote for and why?
Answer: “This is my first time voting and I voted for (Libertarian) Bob Barr. Living in New Hampshire, I think Obama’s going to take the state, but I think independent candidates don’t get enough publicity or attention.”
► Question:
What issues were important to you?
Answer: “I’m more liberal and a lot of my ideas line up more with Obama, but it’s important for me to see in the future independent candidates getting more attention.”

► Question: Who did you vote for and why?
Answer: “Obama. I think that the country needs a Democrat in office. (George H.W. Bush) created a huge, huge budget deficit. Clinton came in and made the deficit into a positive. Obama will be able to do that again.”
► Question:
Is this your first presidential election?
Answer: “Yes. I did vote in the primary. It’s very exciting.”

► Question:
Who did you vote for and what influenced your choice?
Answer: “I voted for John McCain. Finances were important to me. When you make so many promises to voters that you aren’t going to be able to keep ... that worries me. Obama promised tax cuts for 95 percent of people, and then promised health insurance for 40 million people at the same level that Congress gets ... and education programs from birth...”
► Question:
When did you decide who you would vote for?
Answer: “I changed from (undeclared) to Republican during the primaries and decided by the time the party candidates were known. John McCain has experience. With him you know where he stands.”

► Question: Who did you decide to vote for?
Answer: “Obama. We need a desperate change. And I’m glad that Obama is black. It denotes a major change in America that we need.”
► Question: Were there any other issues important to you?
Answer: “(The war.) I’m sick of the Bush group. They led us into an (unnecessary) war. I’m angry about those young fellas that got killed for no reason.”

Answer: “Obama. I’ve been supporting him since the beginning. I want more change and I want it now. I don’t want to wait four more years.”
