MICHAEL DUKAKIS – 1988 Democratic primary Governor of Massachusetts between 1974-1978, and 1982-1990, he ran for president in 1988, winning the N.H. primary in a crowded contest with 36 percent of the vote. He went on to lose the presidential race against George H.W. Bush. He has taught widely since then.
